Russia, UAE to establish workgroup on hydrogen power

MOSCOW, Jul 30 (PRIME) -- Russia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to establish a joint workgroup on hydrogen power, the Russian Energy Ministry said in a statement on Friday.

"Russia and the UAE agreed during joint consultations to establish a joint workgroup on the issues of hydrogen energy and will develop bilateral cooperation in hydrogen in the framework of the group," the ministry said.

The Energy Ministry also said that both Russia and the UAE can boast energy potential, generation capacities, geographical proximity to the consumers, scientific potential in production and transportation and transport infrastructure in order to cooperate in hydrogen power.
